Summer School Residential Accommodation Kean University, New Jersey
Kean University is located in New Jersey from where you can be in New York in only 40 minutes by public transport. This third-largest public university in New Jersey is home to the Liberty Hall Museum with its treasures and artifacts of the American Revolution. Students stay in a campus with space for outdoor and indoor activities and get to visit New York with its attractions.

Kean University International Summer school
Location
Airports: Newark:20mins* JFK:1hr 30mins** LaGuardia:2hrs** Groups are met at the airport by a staff member who will escort you back to the campus.
Facilities
Indoor and outdoor spaces for interactive activities including conversation classes, international evenings, discos and more. Harwood Arena has a swimming pool, basketball and volleyball courts and an indoor running track. Additionally, there are four tennis courts and four half basketball courts next to the accommodation facilities.
Accommodation
Residences: Twin apartment configuration with double occupancy bedrooms, with a bathroom and kitchenette.

Public Transport: Tickets are provided for all excursions. Taxi: Please see the Centre Manager for taxi contact numbers.
Internet
Wi-Fi internet is available across campus including in halls of residences. Please refer to your Centre Manager for Wi-Fi access codes.
Academics
Average students per class: 16. English levels: Elementary - Proficiency (programme can be adjusted to lower English levels). Additional qualifications available: Trinity GESE exam and PCTO programme
Security
There is 24 hour security. No safes in the bedrooms. The Centre Manager has a safe in their office for Group Leaders to store money/passports securely. An access fob, a key and lanyard are supplied to students. A replacement key is £18 and a replacement fob is £10. A replacement lanyard is £ 2. Damage deposits of £20 or €30 will be collected.
Laundry
There is a laundry room located on site. Card system used. It is £2.70 for a wash and £1.20 for tumble dryers. Cards can be purchased from Loring Management Centre. All of the laundry facilities are self-service. Open: 7.00 - 23.00. Bed linen will be washed once a week by the University laundry.
Meal
Breakfast: 07:00 - 08:45. Toast, cereal, pastry, yogurt, fruit. Cooked breakfast once a week. Lunch: 12:30 - 13:45. Pasta, meat or vegetarian main course with potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert. Dinner: 18:00 - 20:00. Meat or vegetarian main course with potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert.
